Clarin Stewardship

Clarin has been in operation since 1925. Throughout our nearly century-long corporate history, Clarin's leaders have handed down our unique, innovative product designs and corporate principles from one generation to the next.

Clarin's leaders today recognize these stewardship principles and the impact of our corporate actions on this generation and the next. When we make decisions related to product design, material selection or operational procedures today, we weigh our actions and their direct and indirect bearing on the environment and the safety of this and future generations.

Clarin Environmental and Safety Principles

These Clarin Stewardship principles guide us.

  • Design and manufacture products that ensure the safety of our customers, community and workers.
  • Design and manufacture products that are consistent with the worldwide and local "green" initiatives.
  • Design and manufacture products that are durable in order to minimize waste.
  • Design and manufacture products that, within applicable reason, minimize the unnecessary consumption of product components and assembly materials.
  • Design and manufacture products that do not emit damaging by-products that exceed acceptable air, water or atmospheric pollution standards.

More specifically, the Clarin Stewardship perspective on the environment is evident in many of our corporate actions today.
